Epluche

Laurie is a graphic, fashion and textile designer, she works and lives in Paris. She has always liked to draw, cut, assemble and has rapidly chosen to study applied arts. Then she has refined her choices, and she naturally focused on fashion and design.

“Finding the right colors, associating forms, the principle of repetition, all of this is now a part of my daily life. I think about it constantly, everything that comes to my eyes can be transformed into range colors, new polka dot print or wallpaper pattern. I always have with me a list of things to draw. I love travelling, and the discovery of major towns like Paris, Vienna, London or NY remains my biggest inspiration. I also like to mix the contemporary spirit of famous designers like Orla Kiely and Donna Wilson who are for me models with more classical influences as William Morris.

Working for more than 10 years in the world of fashion, design and graphics, my style and my skills continue to evolve but my signature remains the same: a graphic and subtle universe, accessible to everyone.
As the variety of professional exchanges always remains a very exciting advantage of the freelance status, do not hesitate to contact me for any collaboration.

Crowdfunding : The international Project

In October 2015, I created a crowdfunding project in order to participate to Printsource New York 2016.
You can watch the video bellow (in French, sorry...) and part of the illustrations I created for this project.

And I got the funding ! So see you at Printsource NY in August !

I am one of the «françaises», along with my incredible and talented partner Mathilde Wydauw. The adventure began in May 2015 at our first Surtex show in NY.

We really enjoyed it, and we will be at Surtex 2016. See you at the Javits center !
